The Meet and Greet will be held on Friday evening, April 26th and the Hill Country Run will be held Sunday, April 28th.  Look for details in the first quarter of next year.

TEXAS CORVETTE ASSOCIATION ANNUAL OPEN CAR SHOW



Since 2000, the primary car show benefactor is St. Jude’s Ranch for Children – Texas (SJRC). SJRC Texas cares for children and families who have been affected by trauma, abuse and neglect. They provide a safe haven and offer help and hope on their journey of healing. Last year, the TCA donated $98,301 to the SJRC from the car show registrations and sale of raffle car tickets.



The Texas Corvette Association (TCA) was founded in 1979 by Craig L. Main and William H. Clower.  While our records don’t include the details of the very first car show, in 2018 we celebrate our 26th annual event.  The TCA has a 19 year history of holding their car show in the beautiful town of Boerne, Texas  along the “Hill Country Mile” and routinely draw over 350 entrants across more than 30 car classes.  In 2017, there were 401 registration and 280 corvettes.  Folks came from all over Texas to include:  the Dallas area, Houston area, El Paso, Corpus Christie, Harlingen, Abilene, and Odessa.




FIESTA SAN ANTONIO and FIESTA MEDALS

The TCA Car Show is the only Fiesta sanctioned event outside the city limits of San Antonio.  This year, 2018, we celebrate our 12th year as part of the Fiesta – San Antonio activities.  Fiesta San Antonio started in 1891 as a one-parade event as a way to honor the memory of the heroes of the Alamo and the Battle of San Jacinto. It has evolved into one of this nation’s premier festivals.  Fiesta has grown into a celebration of San Antonio’s rich and diverse cultures.

 

Because of our relationship with Fiesta San Antonio, the TCA produces a Fiesta Medal each year.  Each year, the Chairman of the Car Show Committee’s car is featured on our medal.  You can see our first 11 years of medals on our TCA Fiesta Medals page.
